Woodhaven Industries to Debut at High Point

Woodhaven Industries will debut an expanded furniture and upholstery exhibit in High Point in April. Woodhaven plans to introduce new lines of upholstered furniture and bedding at a 6,000 sq. ft. display in the Home Fashions Resource Center (Fabric Center) located at 312 South Hamilton Street, 3rd floor. Although Woodhaven is a new exhibitor at High Point, the manufacturing division has been creating quality furniture for more than 40 years. With two upholstery and eight bedding plants located around the country, Woodhaven produces “built in the U.S.A.” furniture for Aaron’s, Inc. lease-to-own stores and for other major retailers. Woodhaven employs more than 750 employees.

“We’re very excited about unveiling our expanded line of upholstered furniture and bedding at High Point,” said Mike Jarnagin, Vice President of Woodhaven Industries. “For 40 years, we’ve built furniture enjoyed in homes across America. Because we control the quality, cost, delivery, styling, durability and quantity of our furniture products, our customer benefits by having access to the most popular pieces at affordable pricing. We stay in front of the trends in order to offer the most current and popular products demanded by the consumer”.

Woodhaven has been recognized for its sustainability practices. Woodhaven was announced as the winner of the Green Save Award at the 2011 Atlanta Business Chronicle Environmental Awards. On average each year, Woodhaven recycles more than 10 million pounds of material and has reduced the waste sent to landfills from its plants by 92 percent. “We are saving the world, one sofa at a time,” said Mike Jarnagin.
